Live Fundraisers

Check out the live fundraisers being undertaken by our awesome supports. Please help where you can!

Dates TBC: The Lap Ultra

Ross and I are going to attempting the lap ultramarathon around Lake Windermere. This is 47 miles route 95% trail so will definitely not going to be a easy challenge but will be putting in many hours and miles of training along the way to ensure we complete this mission and help raise money for an amazing charity

Date TBC: 59 Climbs for 59 Years

What Paul says:

My challenge is to complete 59 climbs in one day (safely). Why 59? Well, I’m now 59 years old and trying to keep young.

When? I need a few months to get fitter, and to have a day with good weather and longer daylight.

We are all affected by cancer in some way during our lives, whether personally, a family member or a friend. For me, I’ve been lucky to survive twice, as has my brother and I have several friends who’ve had long struggles.

May 31: Daniel and Luca’s Welsh 3 Peaks.

We have set ourselves a family challenge- to climb the 3 highest mountains in Wales, in just 24 hours!

We are raising money to support cancer as members of our close family and friends have been affected by this illness. We have chosen Climbers against Cancer because we will be climbing up Pen y Fan, Cadair Idris, and Snowdon. We will be starting in The Brecon Beacons, Bannau Brycheiniog, at 4pm, then travelling to Dolgellau to climb through the night, finishing on Wales’ highest peak Yr Wyddfa, Snowdon by 4pm the next day.

June 10: Running for Brendan

Help support Isaac in memory of his friend, Brendan

Very sadly, my friend Brendan recently passed away after two and a half years of fighting stage 4 bowel cancer.

I’m going to run the Endurancelife Exmoor Marathon in his memory and to hopefully raise some money for Climbers against Cancer. A cause I know he would have appreciated.

April 10: Hanger to Hanger for CAC – Polly and Ben’s tandem ride from Swansea to Plymouth

Riding 386km over 5 days for fun, to raise money for CAC!

April 14: Team Splendid Adventures – Everest-ing!!

This Friday (14 April 2023) Team Splendid are collectively going to climb for 12 hours non stop at the local indoor climbing centre Redpoint Bristol, with a minimum target of the height of Mount Everest (8848m). For context, that’s 140 climbs each!

April 16: CLIMBERS AGAINST CANCER – FOR TIMBO

We have signed up to run the Manchester marathon in April, just over a year after losing our amazing Timbo to prostate cancer. We wanted to try and turn this loss into something positive by raising money for a charity that Timbo passionately supported, being a huge climbing fan himself.

23rd July: Andrews 60 year bash

My idea was to complete 10 sport routes of grade 6a or above in a day – 10 times 6 equalling 60. Not super challenging admittedly, but as my onsight grade was only around 6b, not super easy either. I managed to sell the idea to my wife (my main climbing partner) who would have turned 60 a few months prior, so would do the same challenge with me.
